Rais Aziz Pramana is a Bali-based creative digital strategist and visual artist known for his surreal, boundary-pushing work.
Raised as a “nomad” kid across Indonesia, his ever-changing environment sparked a deep fascination with the strange and unconventional. Starting with watercolour and acrylic paints, he developed a style rooted in dreamlike, illogical, and emotionally charged imagery. In 2020, he joined the art community Pasren, later exhibiting in two of their group shows. His digital illustrations were also featured in Mandala 2021: New Normal, New Optimism (2021), a virtual exhibition spotlighting young university-level artists in Bandung —marking a total of three exhibitions to date.
Rais has over three years of experience in graphic design and digital strategy. In 2023, he worked at the Indonesian Consulate General in Melbourne, creating content for cultural programs and digital diplomacy. Earlier, he interned at Brand Geeks Inc. in 2022, refining his skills in branding and visual storytelling. These roles helped him bridge imaginative thinking with practical design execution.
Today, Rais blends surrealism with strategy—crafting campaigns, illustrations, and digital experiences that challenge the expected. He thrives in collaborative and fast-paced environments while continuing to explore traditional media and unconventional forms to fuel his ever-evolving creative voice.
