PASREN is a collective of artists based in Klaten Regency, united by a shared passion for arts rooted in the region’s unique cultural identity. Active since 1993, the group has consistently organized various artistic events across Klaten.
Today, PASREN comprises over 60 members from diverse educational and professional backgrounds—including students, civil servants, private employees, and full-time artists. The collective received official recognition from the Klaten Department of Education and Culture on March 11, 1992.

The logo is inspired by the shape of Prambanan Temple, featuring three batik roots symbolizing PASREN’s three founders. A paintbrush element represents the arts, while the earth-tone colors reflect the group’s well-known naturalist style.
This supergraphic draws inspiration from the Bayat batik pattern, combined with iconic Klaten elements such as Prambanan Temple, angkringan (street food cart), Mount Merapi, and a batik-style illustration of a person painting.
